The PRONEA Support Project (National Program for Supporting Rural Extension) aims to contribute to increasing income and improving food security for producers – in particular small producers – through increased production, greater efficiency and market orientation .
Verde Azul is included in this project as a project implementation partner, CEAGRE.
Our work focused on a first phase in the provinces of Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane, where together with the SPER, it sought to identify the training needs of extension workers as well as producer organizations, so that they can then be trained in different areas, such as agribusiness, processing, seed production, etc.
Verde Azul’s fieldwork covered several districts, such as: Manhiça, Chowké, Chibuto, Guijá, Zavala, Inharrime, Morrumbene, Moamba and Boane.
